Description
Mechanism of action: Dexamethasone is an adrenal corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties and weak mineralocorticoid effects. Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates and energy production and helps in the transmission of nerve messages. Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) plays an important role in the synthesis of nucleic acid (DNA) and therefore cell proliferation and protection of the myelin membrane. slow Lidocaine as a local anesthetic reduces pain at the injection site.
Indications: Relief of sciatica, neuritis, polyneuritis and back pain
prohibited usage: History of allergy to corticosteroids or any of the components of the drug
History of sensitivity to amide anesthetics – History of sensitivity to cobalt – Hereditary optic nerve atrophy
Presence of infections such as tuberculosis, herpes, chicken pox, systemic fungal infections
side effects: In parallel with the desired therapeutic effects, each drug may also cause unwanted side effects, although not all of these side effects can be seen in one person, but consult your doctor if any of the side effects occur
These side effects include: allergic reactions, metabolic and nutritional changes, hot flashes, restlessness, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, tremors and seizures
Drug doses: Dexamethasone 4 mg – Lidocaine hydrochloride 60 mg – Vitamin B1 hydrochloride 50 mg – Vitamin B12 250 micrograms
Use in breastfeeding and pregnancy: It is not recommended to use this medicine during breastfeeding and pregnancy.
Effect interaction: change in the effectiveness of anticoagulant and antidiabetic drugs, reducing the therapeutic effect of this drug when used simultaneously with barbiturates, phenytoin, carbamazepine, antacids, reducing the therapeutic effect of salicylates and albendazole when used together with this drug
